Butterfly pea with honey and lemon

Butterfly pea flowers are typically used to color food and beverages, as their bright blue color comes out when soaked. However, when the liquid is mixed with an acidic ingredient such as lime or lemon juice, it transforms into a beautiful shade of royal purple. Enjoy the striking hue of this summery iced tea garnished with a slice of lemon.

Ingredients
1. ½ Litter of water.
2. 10 - 15 pieces of butterfly pea flowers
3. Honey 2 tablespoons
4. Lemon Slices, optional juice

STEP 1: Preparing water
- Bring water to a boil and remove from heat.
STEP 2: Making the drink
- Add Butterfly pea flowers and allow to steep in water until cooled.
- Remove flowers before serving.
STEP 3: Serving
- Filled crushed ice into glasses, and add honey.
- Pour into glasses, add a squeeze of lemon (optional).
